I am not affiliated with health insurance providers and do not bill health insurance. You may pay for your services by cash or card at the time of your appointment.

What services can a foot care nurse provide?
Routine Foot Care
Routine care includes nail trimming and sanding, callus and corn reduction, regular assessment, and diabetic foot surveillance.
I use professional sanding equipment and medical grade instruments that are sanitized and autoclaved.
Interventions
A foot care nurse is qualified to provide supportive care of a range of foot and nail conditions such as warts, pre-diagnosed fungal nails, pressure point relief, and wound care (with a provider's order).
I do not remove ingrown toenails or provide orthotic services.
Partner with Podiatry
Rainforest RN recommends patients with foot and nail issues also see a podiatrist. Routine foot care and supportive interventions complement, but do not replace, the advanced care and monitoring of a podiatrist.
Please keep all of your podiatry appointments!

Meet Your Nurse
I am a trained and certified foot care nurse, as well as a certifed wound and ostomy nurse. I am also a licensed nail technician in the State of Alaska. Originally from Maine, I have lived here in beautiful Alaska with my family for 5 years. My nursing experience includes home health, acute inpatient, inpatient and outpatient specialty wound care nursing, and foot care. It is my great pleasure to provide foot care nursing in the community.
